How to install Kdenlive on Linux

Using official repository

If your distribution has an official repository support then you can simply install Kdenlive using the installation command.

ON UBUNTU, ELEMENTARY OS, LINUX MINT OR DEBIAN
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable
sudo apt-get install kdenlive

ON FEDORA AND RED HAT OR SUCH DISTRIBUTIONS
sudo dfn install kdenlive

ON ARCH LINUX
sudo pacman -S kdenlive

Install as a Flatpack package

Just use the below command to install the kdenlive as flatpack application.

flatpak install flathub org.kde.kdenlive

Note : In order to run the above command, you first need to configure flatpack support in your distribution.

You can directly run the program with out any hustle of installation or any dependency issue. Just dowload the appimage file from the given below link.
